The SOW includes Model SD55 2”x 2” NaI detector with SDA3E pre-amplifier/SCA, CIM43 lead shield, CS9G check source, local RAM616 display and control unit, and remote RAM606 display and control unit and has a Minimum Detectable Concentration (MDC) of 1E-7 uCi/cc of Cs-137 in a 1 mR/hr background.

This detection instrumentation will screen containerized cargo for special nuclear and other radiological materials as it moves through the global maritime shipping network. The Megaports initiative will install radiation detection systems at high-volume international seaports.
